Cookies Policy

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep sessions active, and to remember your preferences.

Browser Storage We Use

Wheel Income uses browser storage to keep you signed in. Firebase Authentication stores session tokens in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB — not traditional HTTP cookies. This allows you to remain signed in across browser sessions without setting an HTTP cookie on your device.

Third-Party Browser Storage

Firebase Authentication (Google) uses browser localStorage and IndexedDB to manage your session state. We also use Google Analytics to measure aggregate usage, and Google AdSense to display advertising; both set cookies in your browser. This storage and these cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). When you first visit, we ask whether you accept these cookies. Until you accept, they are not stored: advertising and analytics run in a restricted mode that sets nothing on your device, so you will still see advertisements, but non-personalised ones. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Managing Browser Storage

You can clear browser storage through your browser's developer tools or settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View localStorage and IndexedDB contents for a site
  • Clear all site data for a specific site
  • Clear all browser data including localStorage

Because session tokens are stored in browser localStorage/IndexedDB rather than HTTP cookies, standard browser cookie controls will not remove them. To end your session cleanly, use the Sign Out function in the application.

Browser-specific guidance: Chrome: DevTools → Application → Storage | Firefox: DevTools → Storage | Safari: Develop → Show Web Inspector → Storage | Edge: DevTools → Application → Storage
